Terms of Service

Please read our terms of service carefully before booking

1. Booking, Settlement and Payment

Settlement Currency: All our tour packages support settlement in US Dollars (USD) or Chinese Yuan (CNY).

Payment Methods:

  • We accept PayPal (preferred for international guests, safe and convenient)
  • International credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
  • International bank wire transfer
  • After arriving in China, we also accept Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Chinese Yuan cash

Booking Confirmation: Customers must pay 10% of the total cost as a deposit to secure the itinerary and resources

Balance Payment: Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance must be paid on your first day in Lhasa.

2. Special Documents for Foreign Visitors (Tibet Travel Permit)

Legal Requirement: According to regulations, foreign visitors and Taiwan compatriots entering Tibet must hold a Tibet Travel Permit issued by the Tibet Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau.

Application Obligation: You must provide us with a valid passport and China visa scan at least 20-30 days before your trip begins.

Policy Exemption: If the Tibet Travel Permit cannot be approved due to sudden government policy changes or force majeure, we will refund the entire deposit received, but will not be liable for any other losses incurred by the customer (such as international round-trip flight losses).

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans may change. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. Refund standards are as follows:

  • Cancellation 30+ days before trip start: Full deposit refund (minus any bank/PayPal fees and airline/train ticket cancellation fees already incurred)
  • Cancellation 15-29 days before trip start: 10% of total cost forfeited as penalty
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before trip start: 20% of total cost forfeited as penalty
  • Cancellation 3-6 days before trip start: 50% of total cost forfeited as penalty
  • Cancellation within 48 hours before trip or after trip has started: No refund

4. Itinerary Changes and Force Majeure

Force Majeure: We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary due to extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, war, government diplomatic policy changes, or unexpected road closures to Tibet.

Cost Handling: Additional costs resulting from these changes (such as extra meals and accommodation) are the responsibility of the guest. Refunds will be provided for unused attraction tickets due to shortened itineraries.

5. Health and Safety Recommendations

Altitude Sickness: Most areas of Tibet are above 3,600 meters elevation. Guests should ensure their physical condition is suitable for high-altitude travel before booking.

Medical Insurance: We strongly recommend all foreign guests purchase international travel insurance covering high-altitude medical rescue and emergency evacuation before departure.

Safety Responsibility: Our guides will provide professional altitude sickness prevention guidance, but due to individual differences, we are not liable for health damage caused by altitude sickness.

6. Code of Conduct and Cultural Respect

Guests must comply with the laws of the People's Republic of China during their stay in Tibet.

Respect local Tibetan religious beliefs and customs (e.g., do not photograph inside temples without permission, do not touch Buddha statues).

Guests are responsible for any legal consequences resulting from their violations.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. In case of dispute, both parties should negotiate amicably. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent People's Court in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region.
